Showing that they’re ahead of the game, once again, the Table Mountain cableway is focusing on value-for-money for locals.
If you’re savvy you’ll know that 2011 is the year to concentrate on domestic tourism and catering for locals like never before.
The new frequent user Cable Card, just announced, costs R490 for an adult, lasts one year, and the user could use the cableway every day if they wanted to. If one uses it once a week, it means that a trip up and down costs you just R9.40!
The Cable Card is also available for children (R245) and there are adult/child combo cards available at R580 per combo.
There are great benefits of owning this frequent user card, such as avoiding the ticket office queues; invitations to exclusive Cableway functions and events; plus a subscription to the Cableway’s quarterly e-newsletter, packed with news and special offers.
The cards are available from the Cableway Visitor Centre, situated at Table Mountain Cableway’s Lower Station, and are valid for 12 months from date of activation. Applicants of the card must present a South African ID or driver’s license.
